Not Exactly A Hero: Story Game – Novel-style adventure ⭐4.7

Price: Free

You get to live as a regular citizen in a superhero universe in this narrative-driven visual novel. Get to know and engage with a variety of characters with distinct personalities.

On the outside, the characters may appear icy and irritable, but on the inside, they are compassionate. Solve special puzzles in a “time attack” style while completing the tasks assigned by your boss.

The player character in the game, Riley, serves as a stand-in agent to assist a superhero in their daily tasks. Riley is essentially a regular citizen, though.

In between cases, you will have multiple interactions with a variety of characters in the game. Chief, your boss, is always under pressure due to budgetary constraints. Chris, the new member of your team, constantly tries to stroke your ego. An ‘Oobur’ driver with a talent for provoking thought. A strange and eccentric person who drives a kebab truck. Some of them might become your friends, some people may abandon you. It all depends on you and the decisions you make.

You’ll have to make a lot of choices as the story develops. As you move forward, each and every one of those decisions will accumulate and ultimately determine the result.

There are 9 different endings, 4 side character routes, 3 starting points, and a bonus route for completionists. The main character is you. You have complete control over everything.
