In the Norse mythological strategy game Northgard, you take command of a Viking clan that is at war over an unknown continent.
The courageous Vikings have finally reached their goal of NORTHGARD, a previously uncharted area full of peril, wealth, and mysteries, after years of ceaseless exploration.
The most daring individuals from the North have embarked on a journey to discover and rule these uncharted territories, earning glory for their Clan and penning their place in history via conquest, trade, or devotion to the gods. If they can make it through the terrible winters never before seen in the North, befriend or vanquish the enormous creatures that wander the region, and survive the terrible Wolves and Undead Warriors, that is.
You may play with up to six other people on the go. Features three game modes: Duel, Free for All, and Teamplay.
Completing the 11 campaign chapters requires the player to become an expert in the ways of the six founding clans and to learn to survive in the harsh Northgard wilderness.
Story mode: Rig’s saga
Hagen kills the High King of the Vikings and takes his Regal Horn. This incident marks the beginning of a remarkable journey that would lead Rig, his son and heir, and his trusted companion Brand across the uncharted continent of Northgard.
Where he will meet new allies and enemies, learn about a danger much bigger than Hagen, and uncover the truth about his father’s murder on this continent.
