You take command of more than thirty vintage aircraft, such as the Fokker Dr. I, which was piloted by Manfred von Richthofen, a.k.a. “Red Baron”. Others range from light fighters like the Airco DH.2 to a massive 4-engine bomber like the Sikorsky Ilya Muromets – all planes can be altered and enhanced.
Choose between two modes tailored for different playstyles and skillsets. In Pilot Mode you can solely focus on air combat, collecting and improving planes. Squadron Leader Mode provides a new layer to the gameplay – apart from combat, you also need to manage resources, employ and train pilots and build your base.
You can experience all of the main fronts of World War I through two campaigns for the Triple Entente and one for the Central Powers. In a variety of missions, you will fly over the majority of the nations that took part in the conflict.
